Job Title: Perl Developer Job Location: Mahwah, NJ Job Duration: Long Term Contract Details of Position: · The Developer will create and enhance programs of low to high complexity on a Linux platform as well as interacting with data held in MSSQL databases and flat files. · Must demonstrate proficiency in authoring requirements and analysis documentation. · Proficient in creating programming specifications of moderate to high complexity from high level requirements. · Develop, execute and analyze process test plans for complete functionality. · Responsible for all phases of software development life cycle from software design through customer support. 24X7 support of applications and systems. Management Skills: · Requires knowledge of programming/web development and internet technologies. · Requires good oral and written communication skills as well as planning and organization. · Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment. · Experience in Linux and Unix. Programming skills in Perl/CGI, SQL, MSSQL, HTML, SOAP/XML, JavaScript/AJAX and Unix Shell. · Ability to reverse engineer applications developed by others. · Prior experience with Cisco network devices a plus.
