*Description of Work:  *

Hennepin County has made a decision to designate FileNet as the document
management technology solution for the enterprise. In order to support the
effort, we are looking for a senior level Project Manager with FileNet (or
an equivalent document/content management tool) implementation experience,
who will identify the needed resources, shape priorities, coordinate
interactions with customers and users, and will keep the project team
focused on the right goal. This role will follow Hennepin County’s existing
Project Management Office (PMO) best practices to ensure the integrity and
quality of project artifacts.



*Responsibilities*

The Project Manager is accountable for the following responsibilities.



·         Project Planning

o   Develop project plan and other planning artifacts

o   Identify and Assess Risks

o   Define monitor and control processes

o   Define/Review roles and responsibilities

o   Plan Iterations for the implementation /on-boarding

o   Develop iteration plan and schedule

o   Prepare for phase close-out

o   Prepare for project close-out

o   Follow PMO’s change control process

o   Review Change Requests

·         Project Management

o   Follow PMO’s product acceptance plan

o   Develop risk management plan

o   Develop problem resolution plan

o   Develop quality assurance plan

o   Monitor overall project status

o   Report status

o   Schedule and assign work

o   Handle exceptions and problems

o   Contract and vendor management

o   Communication plan

o   Organizational change management plan

·         Project Plan

o   Risk List

o   Iteration Plan and Schedule

o   Issues List

·         Status Reports

o    Financial Data

o    Personnel/Staffing

o   Top 5 Risks

o   Technical Progress

o   Major Milestone Results

o   Total Project/Product Scope

o   Action Items and Follow Through

*Required Skills:*



*Knowledge/Experience *

·         Enterprise Content Management (ECM) / FileNet Project Management
Experience* Required*

·         7-10 Years of Managing Large, Complete Projects in Corporate
Fortune 1000 Companies using an industry standard methodology to implement
ECM solution(s)

·         Proven track record managing a range of projects from Custom
Development, End-to-End Line of Business Solutions (involving multiple
solution components), and Infrastructure

·         Directly responsible for managing multiple > $2M Project(s) or
Portfolios

·         Managing projects for public sector clients is a plus



*Technical Background *

·         Experience in managing software development life cycle projects.
Must demonstrate the ability to understand and communicate the solution
being implemented.

·         Exposure to multiple development methodologies is a plus (e.g.
Waterfall, Agile etc.).

·         Experience with release management



*Skills *

·         7+ years of expert-level experience with MS Project

·         Experience with SharePoint for publishing project artifacts

·         Managing teams of 4-8 resources, architects and business analysts
as well as diverse Subject-Matter-Experts

·         Forecast, Measure and Track project profitability

·         Project Management

·         Exceed Client Expectations and effectively communicate at all
levels

·         Manage a team of diverse skillsets and strengths

·         Manage a team and the customer to a plan

·         Strategize and solution effective ways to mitigate project risks
