The ideal candidate will have: · Project delivery leadership experience with *web application development* and deployment to *geographically distributed sites.* · Strong* Project Management *fundamentals (scope, schedule, budget, risk management). Accountabilities include: o Manage all aspects of assigned project throughout the project lifecycle including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change. o Develop and maintain detailed project plan to include milestones, tasks, and target/actual dates of completion. o Revises project plans as appropriate as a result of approved changed requests. o Prepares and submits project status reports to management. o Manages team budget. o Conducts regularly scheduled project status update meetings. o Manages project risks and issues. o Defines, or guides the definition of solutions that meet business needs within constraints of time, resources and cost. o Identifies and assesses alternative solutions where necessary and communicates these to the appropriate business stakeholders for decision making. o Interfaces with all areas affected by the project to include internal subject matter experts, external corporate departments, and Health Plans. o Establishes effective quality assurance processes for the project and ensures that they are followed in order that a quality solution is delivered. This person will require a *minimum* of *10 years of total experience *with* 3+ years of pure Project Management experience, *working in large scale companies. *PMP* certification is preferred. This will be a PM role that leads a *cross-functional team*, so communication skills must be top-notch. This person will need to be *based in Portland, OR for the duration of the project*. He or she will manage an *internal Microsoft technology-based Development team and relationships with internal business stakeholders*. The new web system will being deployed at *2,000 customer locations* across the USA.
