Position: PHP Developer Location: Phoenix, AZ Duration: 6 months Rate:$40-$45
Summary of responsibilities: In this position, you will work together with a team to create compelling and cutting-edge websites and web applications using open source technologies, typically PHP. You will turn design and user interface mock-ups into functional websites. You are driven by things like troubleshooting existing client sites, custom programming, web application development, and contributing ideas and efforts toward internal projects as part of a team. A constant learner, you maintain your industry knowledge of digital and interactive strategies and best practices--and you can apply your knowledge to this role to help us optimize efficiencies in production and client results. Qualifications: 3-5+ years coding in PHP Custom coding experience with Content Management Systems (Drupal, WordPress, ExpressionEngine) – module/plugin developers desired. Experience with modern PHP frameworks (Symfony, CodeIgniter) Proficient in SQL (MySQL preferred) Proficient in JavaScript and experience with AJAX or jQuery Experience integrating software and third party applications into existing systems Familiarity with source control systems in general, Git in particular a plus Ability to take the lead on a project, plan and execute while effectively delegating tasks to other team members.
