We have a requirement of *SQL DBA* in *Framingham, MA*. *This is a L3 position* and need someone very strong technically preferably from that area *Required Qualification:* *SQL DBA L3 with 8+ years of experience.* Should have Strong Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) knowledge and experience (SQL Server 2005/2008/2008r2/2012 good to have SQL 2014) Should have Experience on Installation, Configuration, Patching and Monitoring SQL Server 2008/2008 R2 and 2012 good to have SQL 2014. Should have experience to setup High-Availability as part of Disaster Recovery Strategy for the Databases. (Failover Clustering, MCSC and VCS cluster for SQL, Log Shipping and Replication) Log shipping is mandatory. Database backup and recovery. Database Refresh/cloning. Should have hands on experience on Migrations and up gradation Keep customer environment up to date with latest patches and hotfixes Metigate security risks and vulnerabilities in the environment SQL server project work Should have experience in handling SQL Server Performance related issues including High CPU, Slow Query performance, all types of troubleshooting. Prior experience in handling deliveries using ITIL framework.
