If you are interested in the above opening please respond with your Consultants MS Word formatted resume, Billing Rate and Contact details. *Note: Please check the requirement before submitting the resume of your consultant* *Job Title: Business Objects Data Services Administrator* *Location: San Ramon, CA* *Duration: 6-12+ Months* *Experience Level: 8+ years* - We are looking for candidate who has experience in both Business Objects / BODS - Business Objects Data Services Administration. - Experience with BO 4.0 and 4.1, BODS 4.1 and 4.2, Also should be familiar with upgrade path of BO and BODS for patching/upgrades. - Setting security for BO / BODS, report migrations, upgrade and patch installations, troubleshooting security issues, troubleshooting BO/BODS issues in a windows environment, user support, on-call support. - Knowledgeable about SAP Data Services and it’s architecture with Business Objects. *Responsibilities: * - Responsible for the operational application administration of various Business Intelligence applications - Provide operational expertise and support for the install, maintenance and administration of packaged enterprise application software - Serve as a point of contact for BI applications to the user community in order to resolve server application questions and technical support issues - Communicate system status and track issues and enhancement requests - Perform environment refreshes, and apply software patches and fixes - Perform daily system health checks, weekly checks, and responsible for overall application and system performance tuning - Involved with problem escalation and resolution, working with software/hardware vendors to resolve problems - Provide technical consulting to application development, functional, enterprise rollout, integration and change release management teams *Desired Skills:* - Min 8 yrs of IT Exp - 3-4 years of BO and BODS administration experience (deployments, troubleshooting, and installation) - Experience working in a complex and distributed BO environment - Experience in configuring and administering security in BO and BODS - Experience with BO 4.0 and 4.1, BODS 4.1 and 4.2, Also should be familiar with upgrade path of BO and BODS for patching/upgrades. - Important: SSO between BOBJ and BW - SNC between BOBJ and ECC, BOBJ and BW - Exp with Disaster recovery.
