Experience at a cloud provider, large web service provider or financial institution a plus. • Strong background in routing & switching (OSPF & BGP). • Working knowledge of OpenStack and its components. • Experience with Arbor and Tipping Point a plus. • Knowledge of various authentication schemes (namely PKI & LDAP). • Experience with regulatory audits & compliance (PCI) a plus. • Solid Unix/Linux administration. • Experience with Network Management Systems, tooling, automation and (Perl/Python) scripting. • Excellent demonstrable investigative and troubleshooting skills. • Managing efficiency, uptime and performance in a highly dynamic environment. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. the clients Public Cloud team is looking for a Network Security Engineer to work as part of a fast-moving, global Network team building and supporting the network infrastructure for the clients OpenStack Clouds. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: • Operate Network Security Infrastructure, including DDoS mitigation, IDS/IPS, VPNs and Firewalls. • Work closely with the Security team and NOC on identifying and resolving security incidents. • Assist in other areas of the network as needed (routing, switching, load balancing). • Weekly on-call rotations. You are expected to be able to work in a startup culture, be self-motivated and be able to wear multiple hats (including 24x7 Operations). This is a unique opportunity to be involved in building a Cloud network from the ground up.
