*Job Title: UX-UI Designer* *Location: Gold Street, New York, NY (Need Locals)* *Duration : 7+ Months* *Interview : F2F* *Required Skills:* Minimum of 4 years’ experience in user interface design Minimum of 4 years’ experience in web-based user interface design Minimum of 4 years’ experience in human factors and usability engineering. At least 4 years’ experience applying these skills to the design and development of web-based systems. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in user interface design using tools like Axure, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator Experience in gaining active end-user involvement in the specification, design, and implementation phases through interviews and site visits. Strong illustration, graphic design and user-centered interface design experience demonstrated through a portfolio. Detailed knowledge of HTML (Hypertext Markup Language), XHTML (Extensible Hypertext Markup Language), CSS(Cascading Style Sheets) and XML(eXtensible Markup Language). Experience with prototyping user interfaces Demonstrated experience troubleshooting browser quirks and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) problems. Strong communication skills. Familiarity with current usability research, theories and methodologies (especially user-centered design processes), and a demonstrated understanding of how human factors activities provide unique value in the user interface design process. Strong collaboration, relationship management, communication and written skills. Good judgment, logical thinker and detail oriented. *Desired Skills:* Familiarity with designing data entry of complex paper-based applications Familiarity with JavaScript and HTML5.
