Send resumes to teja**@javaji.com* <s...@javaji.com> *Position **: **Netezza Data Integration with ETL* *Location : Bellevue - Washington* *Duration : 3+ Months (3 to 6 Months)* *Experience : 5 - 8 YEARS * *Job Description:* *Netezza Support Tasks* · Updating Backup/Restore scripts on addition/deletion of new database or other objects · Lead database administration (DBA) efforts to perform various admin tasks, such as identifying bad queries and performance tuning associated with Netezza appliances · Change in Update Statistics script(s) if any, on changes in Database objects · Reclaiming activities on deletion of database objects · Taking Backup and performing selective restore of database as validation. · Making space available by performing Reclaim (Groom) on databases tables and vacuum for system tables · Updating Statistics and zone-maps to improve query performance · Management of File sizes : Log file maintenance and archiving of older log files, maintaining space for new data files by performing cleanup activities · Corruption detection and SCSI error check on disks. · Health Check to maintain healthy hardware environment and resolve any possible issues before hand *SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION * · Maintain the Netezza tool by monitoring for new software upgrade releases and implementing all relevant upgrades in the Customer' s system in coordination with IBM. · Maintain the Netezza analytic database. · Document existing feature requests, in order to accommodate any and all new queries for new events and features. · Communicate system failures to TMP and provide guidance to successfully resolve incident. · Communicate the introduction of new features and updates in Netezza and provide necessary training to users in coordination with IBM. *PLATFORM SUPPORT* · Coordinate as needed Netezza upgrades and validation on all processing node servers. · Coordinate user training on Netezza, including, but not limited to: · Functionalities, · Features, · Updates · Manage and coordinate trouble tickets related to Netezza platforms. · Coordinate new features requests received from various Customer' s engineering teams and work with TMP on prioritizing the implementation of the requested features. · Update queries and key performance indicators (&ldquo KPIs&rdquo ), as necessary, for new requirements and performance improvements, including, but not limited to: · Parser performance, · System load, · Mean time to process data · Perform Netezza system health check and management: · Monitor hardware outages. · Netezza account provisioning. · Provide specific data - Informatica Admin(Mandatory) - As a Lead, you are responsible for managing a small team of analysts, developers, testers or engineers and drive delivery of a small module within a project (Delivery/Maintenence/Testing) - You may serve as entry level specialist with expertise in particular technology/industry domain/a process / application / product. - You are responsible for functional/technical track of a project. *Technical Skills:* · Netezza Data Integration · ETL *Language Skills:* English Language Thanks & regards, *Teja* *703-957-5651 (USA)| **t...@javaji.com* <t...@javaji.com>* | * *www.javaji.com* <http://www.javaji.com/> 1039 Sterling Rd, Ste 103, Herndon, Virginia, USA | www.javaji.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
