Looking for a *Release Manager* and we can use your help in placing this position. Please DO NOT submit me Project Manager’s that have been involved with releases. The client needs someone who has at least one recent engagement where they were doing nothing but Release Management as their primary job duties. *Job type: 6 month contract to hire* *Candidate type: must be US Citizen or US Resident / Green Card* *Interview: video* Our client is leading university with multiple campuses that offer undergraduate and graduate degrees. They are looking for a Project Manager to lead a web-based app dev project as part of a large migration project. *Release Manager Job Overview:* As the Release Manager you will own the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the enterprise for multiple applications across various Portfolios The releases can be inclusive of application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades, Projects and Programs. You will be responsible for implementing and managing release processes for the progression of code in the development, test, and production environments. The Release Manager Job function works collaboratively with all participants in software development projects and is supportive of developers and testers as they set up their build dev/test environments.
