Senior ETL (Informatica) developer - New York City NY *Need some one from Investment Bank experience (Senior Informatica (ETL) developer with MQ Series and XML Experience) for longterm Contract.* * * * * *Job Description:* *Hiring manager* is looking for Senior Developer in New York for critical Informatica development works and provide technical leadership to offshore development team. Candidates with Data Warehouse & ETL with Financial products knowledge is required The candidate must be comfortable working independently and have experience with offshore development models. There will be high interaction with the London and Singapore team members. Candidate must also be willing to take initiative and is resourceful at solving problems with minimal supervision. *The individual will have responsibility to:* Work as a Senior Developer on ETL/Informatica platform Provide software design, development, unit testing and documentation as part of the Front Office Integration & Data Quality effort. Ensure that all delivered software meets business requirements and quality standards. Provide technical leadership and assistance to offshore development resources. This is a unique opportunity for someone to play a key role in driving out the strategic direction of the organization, additionally there will be tremendous opportunity for career growth and leadership responsibility as the group size will rapidly expand in the next year. *Job Requirement:* The individual should have the following experience and skills 5+ years experience leading systems development in the finance industry Expert in Informatica performance products, performance tuning & best practices Minimum 5 years experience of data architecture & ETL architecture Minimum 3+ years Informatica Powercenter experience Have strong understanding of data warehouse and BI platform Experience with MQ or TIBCO messaging products in a Java environment Working knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, database design and optimization on Oracle platform Experience with various XML technologies ( DOM, SAX, XPATH, etc) Proven experience with mature SDLC (software delivery life-cycle) processes Experience with enterprise risk applications is required. *Technical Skills:* ETL Architecture, Informatica, Powercenter -- Looking forward to work with you..........
