The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to listen and appropriately match the needs with our company’s business intelligence vision. *Primary Responsibilities:* · Understand the overall business, application and data landscape in order to assess the impact of change and to resolve technical issues as they arise. · Participate in maintenance and improvement of the BI Report Development practices, standards, procedures, and controls (e.g., documentation, development and testing). · Be a trusted and approachable resource for all BI questions and issues. · Follow through with initiatives, assignments, and issues without direction. · Communicate updates and statuses effectively. · Define complex technical design/requirements for large business intelligence projects · Mentor and develop technical competency of assigned team members. · Lead and/or participate in code reviews. · Collaborate with other teams to assess impact of application changes on downstream or upstream applications. · Incorporate downstream/upstream application needs in application / project design. · Ensure designed systems are highly reliable with little or no supporting manpower. · Collaborate with existing and prospective users to define Business Intelligence requirements. · Help user community evaluate technical options and direction.
