If you are interested in the above opening please respond with your Consultants MS Word formatted resume, Billing Rate and Contact details. *Note: Please check the requirement before submitting the resume of your consultant* *Position: Tableau Lead Developer with Life Science ExpLocation: Redwood City, CA* *Duration**: 12+ Months* *Job description:* Level of experience: 8+ years • The primary focus of this position would be to develop and support Tableau Applications. • The candidate will work in conjunction with the business and IT facing teams to understand the business requirements alongside the enterprise data architecture in order to create business intelligence design and develop Tableau reports and dashboards. • Also, the candidate will manage the offshore team for development *Mandatory Requirements:* • *Candidate should have worked on atleast 2 projects in the Life Science Commercial Sales and Marketing department in designing and developing dashboards for Sales (IMS DDD, Specialty Pharmacy SP, Specialty Distributors SD), Shipments and Inventory, Call Interactions (Veeva) Claims, Payer..Etc.* • Nice to have experience in working for drug launches for Life Science companies in the Commercial Sales and Marketing space. • Managed offshore team on atleast 2 projects *Responsibilities:* • Participate on a cross-functional team to design, build, test and deploy complex analytical solutions utilizing Tableau • Participate in business requirements and design review sessions • Perform detailed analysis of source systems and source system data and model that data in Tableau • Design, develop, and test Tableau scripts to import data from source systems, data feeds, flat files • Design, develop, and test Tableau dashboards to meet customer requirements • Participate in design workshops, providing technical insight and knowledge • Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents • Create and maintain technical design documentation • Perform quality coding to business and technical specifications *Technical Qualifications:* • Hands on professional with thorough knowledge of scripting, data source integration and advanced GUI development in Tableau • Strong knowledge on Tableau server architecture and building Tableau dashboards applying business rules and data validations • Must have developed enterprise applications for use in production environments using Tableau. Well versed with deployment methodologies • Full understanding of the processes of data quality, data cleansing and data transformation • Knowledge of formal database architecture and design • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience with Tableau development in the following areas • Scripting/Data Modeling – Proficiency with Tableau Scripting, use of complex Tableau functions, experience with complex data models and optimization of data model for query performance • Front End Design – Familiarity with all charts and graphs, creating complex visualizations for dynamic aggregation, Actions and Triggers, Good understanding of basic graphic design concepts *Functional Qualifications:* • Strong business analysis skills. • Team and project leading capabilities. • Self-motivated with a sharp customer focus • Enthusiastic about learning large and complex systems • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical and communication skills • Results-driven with the ability to take initiatives and meet deadlines • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment *Other skills:* • Good communication skills, written and verbal. • Analytical thinking. • Strong team player • Committed to achieving projects goals • Clear track record of working well in a Business & IT team environment and with all levels of users and senior management team. • Performs other administrative duties as required.
