Description:
· Must have proven hands on experience managing a 2008/2012 SQL Server
environment as well as Virtual Server environment.
· Experience with DNS, DFSR, Active Directory, Group Policy,
Clustering,
and SAN/Commvault for backup is required. Ensure backup and recoverability
of all enterprise SQL server databases.
· Ensure data security. Define and implement database access control
policies and procedures.
· Advise on physical data model and implement changes.
· Responsible for capacity planning, working closely with
Infrastructure
group to allocate appropriate database resources on servers.
· Contribute to the ongoing development of technology and production
processes company-wide.
· Keep abreast of new design tools, hardware, software, and technology
and make recommendations for future deployment.
Required Certification:
· MS (MCITP) MicroSoft Certified IT Professional
