The Cloud Operations Process Engineer will lead a small, high-end team. The role requires a solid understanding of best practices around process reengineering methodologies and related deliverables. Reengineering efforts will be focused around cloud related operations (management and monitoring), development operations and application migration support services running on public cloud, virtualized and non-virtualized platforms. Additionally, a solid understanding of ITIL processes as they relate to public/private cloud operations, governance, management and support would be preferred. The role’s primary focus is reviewing existing processes and developing, integrating and simplifying the ongoing operational support of cloud instances and application deployments of the company’s applications in the public and private cloud. In addition, the Cloud Operations Process Engineer is responsible for creating and improving policies, procedures, roles and responsibilities and facilitating communication. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual who wants to leverage his or her solid and broad skills to make a major impact to the successful implementation of a critical highly visible program. *Responsibilities: * ● Assist with the operational analysis, development and implementation of best in class policy, processes & procedures. ● Help develop cloud operational improvement delivery plans, participate in the cloud operational improvement team and identify issues/risks associated with the efforts. ● Review existing cloud related operations, determine gaps and help make best practice recommendations. ● Help drive process innovation and efficiency in cloud infrastructure operations via automation and industry best practices. ● Work effectively with cross-functional teams to identify cloud related operational improvement opportunities. *Required Skills: * ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering Technology, or technical degree and/or certifications. ● Thorough understanding of best practices related process reengineering methodologies and deliverables. ● Critical attention to detail, thoroughness and documentation ● Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly in documenting and teaching and improving processes. ● Ability to work in a team environment, making decisions based upon priorities, schedules and an understanding of business initiatives. ● Ability to work as part of a team in building, administering, and deploying automated systems and application deployments especially in an enterprise environment. *Desired Skills: * ● Experience with operational cloud processes related to public cloud providers (AWS, Google & Azure). ● Understanding and experience in implementing broad range of cloud tools and technologies for management and monitoring in an automated deployment environment across different Cloud Environments (AWS, Google & Azure). ● Experience in a DevOps environment. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
