*Position Summary*
As part of the world’s largest retailer, the Automation team is responsible
for implementing cutting edge systems with automated and scalable
solutions.
*Position Description*
This role will use tools like Chef/Puppet to design, build, test, deploy
and maintain automated solutions such as IaaS which run the Walmart
eCommerce web sites. In addition, the Sr. Systems Automation Engineer will
be responsible for working with internal customers to understand their
business requirements and building the required solutions.
*Minimum Qualifications*
• 3 to 5 years of experience with scripting languages such as Chef, Puppet,
BASH, Perl, Python or Ruby.
• 3 to 5 years of experience developing automated solutions.
• 5 years of UNIX/LINUX based operating systems and commands.
· Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or
related field and 5 years experience in information technology or related
field within the last 10 years OR 7 years experience in information
technology or related field within the last 10 years.
