They are seeking a Lead C# Developer with strong MVC 5 skills, as well as REST API and web services. *Role;* - *8+ years with C#* - *Strong with MVC5* - *Will do 60% development 40% leading and mentoring team members who are java developers* - Tech Design - Billing - nice to have, not needed - Exposure to to functional programming concepts (Haskell, F#, Scala) is a plus but not needed - HTML, CSS JavaScript etc = nice to have - *SQL & NoSQL good* - Know unix command lines etc don't need Linux Unix hands-on just concepts *Role* ? Be part of a team designing business and technology solutions. ? Regularly launch products and services based on your work and be a creative and integral part of making these a success. *Namely, a single web service call into me may be handled by making several web service calls out, more than one of which would change data. Similar to the classic two-phase commit problem, only without native transaction control.* Responsibilities ? New product development, customizations, and enhancements, working closely with crossfunctional staff to deliver against project goals. ? Participates and reports status in scrums ? Produce documentation Skills and Experience ? Strong understanding of software best practices as it applies to web application and REST API development ? Object oriented programming ability (such as C#, C++, or Java) ? Experience with *web based technologies with a combination of the following: ASP.Net MVC, IIS, WCF, REST, JSON, SOAP.
