*Technical Architect* *LOCATION*: Chicago *DURATION*: 12 months *INTERVIEW:* Skype or face to face (if local) *POSITION SUMMARY & ESSENTIAL DUTIES* The technical architect is responsible for integrating the new capital markets solution (applications and infrastructure) into The PrivateBank’s portfolio of systems and processes. The role collaborates with business functions, project team, and external vendors to understand the new capital markets system and required integration technologies and their implications for the organization. The role also collaborates with internal technology teams in development, network, infrastructure and support to ensure the new capital markets system aligns to roadmaps and delivers value to the business. *Key Responsibilities include:* • Defines and designs technology architecture in support of capital markets systems strategy (e.g., technology design, requirements, data flows) • Coordinates with business, project team, and IT teams to understand the implications of respective architectures on integration, data, and infrastructure • Ensures overall integrity of the solution architecture and maintains a strategic view of the architecture to meet the needs of the integrated business processes • Influences and communicates effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization on topics from architecture to enterprise strategy • Serves as liaison and partner to business, IT, information, and enterprise architects *REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE* *Requires 7-10 years of experience in architecting technical solutions in moderately large and complex system projects.* • *Expert in interface design/architecture, integration technologies development, and enterprise application integration* • *Competent in business, IT, and architecture development* • Builds a collaborative working relationship with various internal and external stakeholders • Competent in technology evaluation and should be able to support technical change management • Ability to perform functional requirements analysis and business process analysis • Understands software testing processes • Must be self-driven and manage deliveries on time *• Requires 7-10 years of experience as an application architect, integration architect, enterprise architect, application integration specialist, or in fields related to enterprise application integration (EAI)* *• Specific capital markets systems experience is MUST* *Email is the best way to reach me.* [image: signature-logo (2)] ISO 9001:2008 Certified WMBE Firm 1441 E.
