Under the direction of CLIENT, major responsibilities include analysis, design, and development for maintenance and enhancements of various student and business related applications. In addition, the consultants may have prime responsibility for the operation and management of the applications. These activities will be related to, but not limited to the following areas: • Manage requirements gathering and analysis • Design Data Transformations and Web Services • Analyze requirements and data access needs and propose file and screen designs • Code new objects (programs) to meet the requirements • Develop Business Data Processing interfaces with mainframe systems, if necessary • Design and develop data system, structure and reporting • Develop User training documentation • Conduct QA testing • Develop stored procedures, triggers as needed These activities will encompass all project life cycle phases including production support (24/7) and documentation of all tasks in accordance with Department of Education standards. This application will maintain school and staff information and generate reports and files for Wellness program support and tracking for the New York City Department of Education. The application involves development areas in Visual Studio .Net with SQL Server for data management and Active Directory for identity management.
