Analysts International is seeking a Solaris System Administrator to help
them standardize the UNIX version as well as the configuration for the
entire organization. Strong middleware experience is required. They are
really looking for a person who is heavy on the Java application side.  They
need someone who has a strong background with application administration.
They also need MQ Series.  They are looking for people who can handle the
clean-up (1-2 people) as described below.



*They are looking for a heavy JAVA person as well as Solaris.  They use
SunOne web server and prefer that experience but will take any experience
with web servers (i.e. Jboss, apache, etc).*


   - Scope to include standard UNIX configuration, webserver configuration
   using SUNONE, and backend FRS configuration (custom-build application)
   - Responsible for understanding current understand of current
   configuration of scoped environments
   - Responsible for review of current build procedures and perform gap
   analysis of current configuration vs. documented standard
   - Responsible for revising build procedures for Unix OS configuration,
   webserver configuration, and backend FRS configuration.  Work with
   stakeholders to provide input on build procedures
   - Responsible for coming up with plan to revise environment to standards.
   - Perform migrations from current environment to newly standardized
   environments.

*5+ years of Solaris experience*

*Web Server Configuration experience (SunOne, iPlanet, Apache, Weblogic)*

*Experience working with Java based applications*

*Must be able to work independent*

*Must have excellent communication skills.*
