Ideally, one resource can play a dual role of Solution Architect and Data Modeler/Analyst. This individual will also be directly responsible for creating highly complex technical source-to-target data mapping, create conceptual through physical designs, etc. Candidate MUST be a senior level, self-starter and be able to do hands-on modeling work in addition to solution architecture. Accountabilities: Directly and primarily responsible for: · highly complex and detailed healthcare data analysis, · complex and detailed discussions with vendor, internal BCBSMN reporting teams and business partners to understand data needs and requirements, · creating complex technical source-to-target data mapping, including updating/creating data model(s), · perform detailed data profiling, · documenting detailed business and technical requirements, and · acting as solution architect in addition to detailed modeling/analysis work Minimum/Base Qualifications: · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and minimum of 10 years of experience related to the accountabilities outlined above · Understanding of and experience with 3NF data modeling · Proven success in a solution architecture role · Must be proactive; self-starter with history of ability to contribute and be productive immediately following onboarding · Extensive experience in complex source-to-target data mapping for inbound data, including complex transformations; data modeling · Proven history of performing high quality analysis/output/results within a fast-paced, highly complex healthcare setting; Extensive experience in a data warehouse environment / complex data warehouse projects · Proven proficiency/expertise in writing solid, efficient SQL to perform complex functions · Demonstrated and proven excellence in oral, written and presentation skills; ability to speak to both business and technical audiences effectively, including collaboration with external vendors · Solid experience/solid performance in working with highly complex healthcare data (including multiple data domains and data sources); integrating multiple and/or new sources in to existing processes · Proven ability to work effectively through ambiguity and change; ability to recognize and understand upstream and downstream dependencies · Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to design, evaluate and interpret complex data solutions · Proven to be successful in a fast-paced project execution environment, meeting and/or exceeding quality standards and timelines.
