Position: Data Analyst/ PM Location: Schaumburg IL Position: 1+ year contract Job Description: This position will entail two roles: Data analyst (70%) Project Management (30%) Data Analyst: Needs to have the ability to comprehend large amounts of data, analyze, capture and maintain updates. Represent data, by audience as well as understand how each audience receives/interprets data, via reports/snapshots and group presentations. Create dashboards using IBM SaaS Velocity product. Needs to be proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. Needs to have critical thinking/problem solving skills. Needs to be detailed oriented. Needs to have a decent understanding of how costs are built for infrastructure services and applications. Needs to have ability & motivation to work independently. Previous experience in TSA management in Mergers, Acquisition, Divestiture space is a plus. Bachelor’s degree required, in finance is a plus. 5+ years of data analyst work preferred. Project Manager: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Needs to be collaborative. Needs to have facilitation/elicitation skills. Should be able to persistently follow-up with IT team members for updates. Needs to be proficient in project management methodologies (agile/waterfall). Needs to be able to create and maintain project schedules, risks/issues/decision tracking logs; detailed status reporting etc. Should be able to lead meetings with senior members of the IT organization. 3 to 5 years experience as a project coordinator/project manager preferred.
