We are Looking for *Role:* *QA Automation Engineer (Python/Openstack)* *Location: Roseville, CA* *Duration:* 6+ months *Job decription:* We are looking for a software/QA engineer who is excited about the challenge of contributing to the development of the test automation framework and automation test suites for an open, secure, and integrated cloud solution that offers enterprises and service providers an easy path to hybrid cloud. The candidate will be responsible for automation framework design and implementation. The ideal candidate is passionate in his/her work, as well as collaborate with engineering teams to understand design trade-offs and constraints. He/she should possess excellent communication skills and effectively convey test coverage and business-level ship-readiness and schedule impact based on test results. *Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:* - Design, develop and document the test automation framework - Develop scripts from manual steps - Work with development teams to coordinate testing and to translate requirements and functional specifications into detailed test cases - Troubleshoot and fix issues found in the test automation framework *Education and Experience:* - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent - Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in software development or Test automation *Knowledge and Skills:* - Experience with building or leveraging automation frameworks for client-server systems using Selenium and CI tools like Jenkins highly desired - Excellent at writing Java tests with JUnit, Selenium Webdriver, TestNG & Maven. - Experience in tools like Selenium Webdriver, SoapUI, ALM, JIRA - Experience in test automation development on Linux (Debian), Windows as well as basic system administration knowledge on both - Experience with ESX/ESXi & KVM hypervisors and configuration - Experience with scripting with Python, Shell - Experience on OpenStack is a plus - Experience on Agile process is a plus - Excellent software development and scripting skills and able to learn new programming languages quickly *Thanks,* *Deepika Verma United Software Group Inc. 565 Metro Place S.
