Role: Business Analyst Location: Long Island City, NY 11101 Duration: Above 5 Months Interview: Telephonic/ Face to Face Only candidates with GC/USC SCOPE OF SERVICES • DOHMH is the lead agency for environmental testing during a biological incident and will coordinate the sampling strategy for the response. Field sampling will be conducted as a multi-agency law enforcement effort, with collected samples delivered to the Public Health Laboratory (PHL) for analysis and results reporting. The PHL BT Results portal seeks to provide internal partners and external agencies with timely access to the laboratory results in order to perform their tasks (e.g. public health risk assessment, event characterization) efficiently and effectively, and with minimal disruption to PHL operations. • Bio-Terrorism (BT) Portal - Objective of this phase is to document all requirements across various stakeholders in the Agency and define all applications that will be interfacing this solution. Deliverable from this phase will allow DOHMH DIITT to assess and define a feasible technology solution. Responsibilities include: • Design environmental testing analytics solutions by understanding customer's business and sampling strategy goals, gathering requirements, defining project scope, and providing technical and product guidance. • Provide superior technical support and build successful long-term relationships with both the Division and DIITT. • Understand existing applications functional and technical design, including system architecture, database schema, application specific web services and integration points with external systems. • Understand new system requirement, perform analysis, development and document technical design. • Design, Develop, Code, Test and deployment the application to implement new features • Integrate code/features from the existing application. • Develop requirements per Mapping and Bar-coding solutions • Perform testing and documentation MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: • Minimum 4+ years of experience with the below technologies • Experience with mapping and barcoding solution • Experience with JavaScript based mapping API • SharePoint Integration DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: • Built system requirements for Web application development in Net, ASP.net, MVC, Responsive framework like Bootstrap, SQL Server, SSRS, JavaScript, Web Services, Ajax, SSRS, C# SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: • 4 + years BA experience highly preferred • Knowledgeable in gathering, reviewing and analyzing end-users requirements • Adept at creating conceptual prototypes and mock-ups • Strong workflow and modeling skills, including: brainstorm, business function, data and database, network and enterprise, and UML. • Knowledgeable in business process modeling and requirements traceability techniques • Excellent written communication, including validating/verifying and technical writing skills • Exceptional verbal communication and problem solving skills, including: • soliciting, clarifying, affirming, consensus-building, and non-verbal/unspoken • Demonstrated requirements elicitation aptitude and talent • Familiar with and intellectually curious about a wide range of technologies and applications, including: web-based applications deployed in a multi-tier environment; mobile phone applications; electronic data exchanges; • Effective at communicating technical concepts to non-technical users • Requirement prioritization and organization and analysis capabilities • Good understanding of system engineering concepts • Proficient in Use Case driven requirements gathering • Modeling techniques and methods experience Thanks, Shalin TCA Consulting Group Inc. recrui...@tcagroupmail.com Phone: 813-862-1408 This email was sent using GroupMail - http://group-mail.com/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
