They have experience in systems design and have a solid understanding of development, database development, testing, and integration methodologies in addition to possessing required knowledge of current and emerging IT products, services, and processes. · The ETL Developer - Senior is responsible for leading the ETL / data integration development and implementation effort and support the monitoring and troubleshooting the production ETL workflows. · The ETL Developer - Senior works closely with clients, business analysts and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and are in compliance with the organizations architectural standards. They are involved in the full systems life cycle and therefore are responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget. Essential Functions: · Responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting ETL workflow processes for data warehousing application or data integration projects. Identifies data transformation and cleansing rules Maps source and target data Develops data warehousing and data mart designs and implementations across multiple platforms and computing environments. Participates in the project planning process as a team member and/or project lead. Provides technical coaching and mentoring to less-experienced team members. Deliverables: · Analyzes the data integration requirements and the sourcing system data to design the integration solution.
