*Title: DevOps Systems Engineer* Location: Reston, VA Duration: 12+ months. Interview: SKYPE The *CI/CD DevOps Systems Engineer* will assess, design, develop enterprise continuous integration/delivery framework enabling enterprise-wide adoption of DevOps. The solution developed will enabled controlled application releases to test and production environments, including source code control, build and deployment management, environment configuration management and technical project management. The candidates should have experience with various version control systems *(ClearCase, Svn, etc), build tools (Ant, Maven, etc).* We are looking for a continuous integration and delivery system engineering Subject Matter Expert with proven track record in implementing scalable CI and CD solutions with skills and experience in the following disciplines: • Develop *DevOps framework* and implement standards, processes, and controls for release and deployment activities • Develop sound version control best practices based on *COT CM systems (Clearcase, svn, , etc.),* including branching and merging strategies • Assist in developing best practices for software build tools *(Maven) *and continuous integration tools *(Jenkins)* • Create an n-tier enterprise system application with multiple underlying technologies and technology frameworks in an interop environment. • Identify, analyze, coordinate, and resolve environment and infrastructure needs to ensure a smooth running application • Participate in release team meetings (CRB/DRB) and pertaining to the release process release schedule through completion • Incorporate service reliability and software quality control for releases during SDLC as part of system design • develop system managing releases/deployment of code through different environments (Development, Test, Staging, UAT, Production ), including: • Establish and Maintain environment configuration specification and deployment history environments, and communication to all stakeholders including clients Maintain environment stability, including Manage upgrade process – preview environment, sandboxes, staging solution, etc… • Architect and implement metrics required bring transparency in to the migration of code from development, testing, staging, through production • Manage the production release process and implementation plan that ensures the reliability and availability of the platform Identify, analyze, coordinate, and resolve environment and infrastructure needs to ensure a smooth running application Qualifications: • Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree a plus • Very strong Project Management experience performing *ITIL RM /SCM activities* • 7 or more years of professional experience in *Managing Build and Release engineering, Java development, product development or testing in UNIX environment with a willingness to learn/excel in build and release * • Knowledge of SCM concepts (code lines, branching, merging, integration, versioning, etc.) • Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills • Clarity and precision in verbal and written communications • Ability to work with customers, developers, testing, project management, support staff • Familiarity with software development life cycle models and agile programming methodologies • Expert with Agile software development model (Kanban) • Experience acquiring In-depth understanding of large complex software systems to isolate defects, reproduce defects, assess risk and understand varied customer deployments • Quick learner Specific skills: • Understanding of the following tools: *o SVN (Subversion) o Clear Quest o Jenkins o Maven o Nexus o Sonar o CAST o Puppet o Vmware – V Cloud automation center o Oracle o Java o JBOSS o Informatics * • Good Project Management skills with a strong technical understanding of Software Development Life-Cycle • Independent self starter with ability to handle multiple, concurrent priorities and projects • Strong negotiation and customer relations skills Thanks & Regards … Madhu *StanSource Inc.* 22375 Broderick Drive, Suite 135, Dulles, VA 20166.
