Job Title: Data Governance Analyst
Location: San Ramon, CA
Duration: 12+Months Contract

Job Description:
·Experience working on CCAR, DFAST, BASEL or other regulatory projects in
Finance or banking industry preferred / given priority
·Assist with Data Governance activities within the BI & Data Management
area by performing current capabilities assessment and identify future data
governance / DQ needs
·Analyze identified data quality issues against source system and existing
data quality capabilities to confirm the source of the data quality issue
·Experience working with data stewards / business to identify data quality
requirements for end users, documenting findings and addressing issues
·Experience identifying Key data Elements (KDE's) and building business
rules to measure KPI's
·Ability to work with business users, data architects, data modelers,
business analysts, QA and multiple delivery teams to define the data
quality and profiling requirements
·Audit Data of various functional areas, and assist building DQ Dashboards
·Establish an ongoing process for data review and remediation of Data
Quality issues
·Define Data Quality goals, requirements, quality rules and profiling needs
·Participate in identifying and proposing data governance solutions
·Established background working as a Data Governance Analyst, Data Steward
or Data Quality Analyst
·Detail-oriented with a commitment to documentation of work performed,
assumptions and results.
·Desire to explore new / additional data sources to improve Data Quality is
a plus
·Well organized with the ability to set and meet deadlines
·Must be able to run SQL statements and be familiar with data warehouse
structures and have the ability to retrieve data from data bases
·Strong analytical, organizational, project management and communication
skills Must be familiar with relational databases
·Experience working with IDQ / Analyst or other data quality and reporting
tools
