The Senior Software Engineer is capable of working alone or within a team to convert a functional and architectural design into a technical design. This position requires the capability to lead and mentor technical teams of up to five (5) people. This Senior Software Engineer will work closely with the architect and principal engineer to code and unit test solutions to specification. The Senior Software Engineer needs to be capable of designing test automation to prove design conformance. The Senior Software Engineer must be capable of working with Support to debug system issues. *Job Description:* The Senior Software Engineer will perform the following job duties: 1. Actively participate in architectural and design discussions with Software Architect. 2. Adaptable in quickly changing technical environments with very strong organizational and analytical skills. 3. Ensure functional requirements are translated into detailed technical design and software requirements specifications are produced consistent with architectural constraints. 4. Articulate innovative approaches to problem solving. 5. Leads large-scale business application design efforts, identifies and promotes the definition and reuse of common business processes and practices. 6. Possess excellent coding practices, with an emphasis on quality and performance. 7. Responsible for definition and adherence to standards and best practices. 8. Produce unit and functional tests to exercise new and modified solutions. 9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 10. Mentors development team members in object-oriented design and development techniques. *Requirements:* 1. Strong object oriented programming and design experience. 2. Experience designing, coding and debugging multithreaded, scalable enterprise class integrated applications. 3. Proficient in Microsoft tools and technologies. 4. Solid understanding of UML 5. Good understanding of database principles and programming experience in SQL. 6. Experience with relevant technologies that may include: SQL Server, SFDC/APEX, .Net, Web Services, Web Applications. 7. Expert at OOA, OOD, OOP, workflow, transaction lifecycles, component models and software design patterns. 8. Proficiency in creating enterprise-wide client/server or web-enabled solutions. 9. Strong and effective managerial tasks including leadership and mentoring. 10. Understanding of organizational budget methods and concepts. 11. Ability to work in a dynamic team environment. 12. Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills. 13. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a professional, diplomatic and tactful manner. 14. Experience with integration of multiple concurrent projects. 15. Experience with XML, XML Schemas, XSL and XSLT. 16. Experience with service oriented architectures. 17. Goal and deadline oriented. *Educational and experience Requirements* 1.
