*Company – Oshkosh Corp.* *Position – Senior **SCCM/Patching Admin* *Location – Appleton, WI* *Duration – 6+ months Contract to Hire* *Skype hire..* *MUST BE GREEN CARD OR US CITIZEN* The Sr. SCCM/Patching Admin/Engineer will maintain strong relationships with distributed workstation support groups and will be responsible for coordinating and implementing workstation patching and support efforts Enterprise wide. They will be responsible for research and evaluation of new enterprise patching technologies, processes, upgrades to Windows workstations by identifying when established procedures are not working and there are gaps in processes, and makes recommendations for improvements. This position will be the technical owner responsible for Windows patch and vulnerability remediation and will provide guidance in the patching process and continuously work to improve the current strategy while working with business segments to minimize impact to the end user. Successful candidates will bring proven experience managing and patching desktops using Microsoft enterprise management tools, packaging and updating 3rd party applications, and developing and enforcing configuration standards. Excellent documentation and communication skills are mandatory. Ability for international travel will also be required. ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION INCLUDE · Deep technical experience supporting Windows hardware and software client computing platforms · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · A deep drive to provide superb customer service · Technically savvy on leading edge technologies, and eager to learn new technologies · Ability to manage multiple priorities · Highly collaborative approach · Professional and diplomatic demeanor · The ability to work independently · The ability to provide work direction to a small desktop engineering team · Level 4 desktop support · Level 3 training and mentorship as required REQUIREMENTS · Associate’s degree and 8-plus years related experience or Bachelor’s degree and 3-plus years related experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS · Microsoft Windows 7/Windows 10 operating system · Microsoft software deployment (SCCM) · Microsoft Active Directory · Microsoft Group Policy management · Microsoft SCCM · PC Support experience in a medium to large company · Good logistical coordination skills (scheduling tasks, shipping internationally, coordinating remote resources to conduct work) · Solid experience working with various IT equipment manufacturers to obtain technical support as needed (Dell, HP, Microsoft, etc.) Please send me below information to submit your resume to client.
