*Role: Business Process Specialist /* *PeopleSoft Payroll* *Location: Auburn Hills, MI* *Type: Contract * *Project: Payroll & Timekeeping Application* *Duration 12 months. * *Job Description:* The Business Process Specialist (BPS) interfaces with business process teams helping the Business Process Manager (BPM) establish priorities related to projects and SR’s. The BPS provides project management and SR execution established with the alignment of Business Relationship and Business Process Managers. BPS are considered application subject matter experts in providing technical guidance and application capabilities. The role is an extension of the organization, acting as liaison and bridging / facilitating communication and understanding between company and supplier partners supporting application development. *Job Responsibilities* • The BPS is responsible for understanding the business processes and application capabilities. The BPS works closely with supplier partners ensuring project and SR deliverables are meet. • The BPS helps with communication of projects and application enhancements ensuring that projects / SR’s align with the technology that best provides maximum return on investment. • Interfaces with business partner Senior Professionals / MLP’s / Supplier partners *Job Duties* • Works closely with business partners documenting business requirements for projects and SR’s • Works directly with supplier partners to ensure requirement understanding, ensuring test process execution, review test requests, performs IT acceptance, and coordinates release with Release Manager • Conduct BUILD to RUN Knowledge Transfer Sessions • Break / Fix / Problem Management (if deemed accountable during Early Life Support) • May also perform: v Prep and Lead Service Request Change Control Board Management v RSO / RSA / Requisition Activities for Build projects v Create New Contracts for vendor services v On/Offboarding (including Supplier Partners) for Build activities v Project Entry/Ownership (AMS) v Delivery of Business Initiated Projects & Enhancements • Execute phases of System Life Cycle Development: v Business Requirements v Design v Code (may include building proof of concepts) v Testing v Deploy Code for BUILD SRs • Create BRD, Project management activities for smaller projects where no Plan PM is assigned *Required Skills / Experience:* • *Minimum 5 years of PeopleSoft Payroll Experience*. Heavy emphasis on Functional expertise, however an understanding of the PeopleSoft technical landscape is also beneficial. • Prior experience supporting a timekeeping application would be beneficial. • Excellent communication skills. • This position will interact with company business partners on a regular basis to define/clarify/document the business requirements for enhancement requests.
