EO team works across cutting edge technologies latest version of Websphere MQ Series. Team consists of highly skilled Middleware engineers and Middleware architects and administrators with vast experience this gives great growth opportunity in middleware field for a candidate. We face multiple challenges related to architecture in order to meet customer’s expectations. *JOB DESCRIPTION:* • Candidate must keep or improve stability and reliability of MQ environments and proactively react to grow/risks/issues • Implements enterprise MQ standards across the portfolio of MQ managers • The candidate must demonstrate very strong problem solving and communication and must be willing to work with several product lines on several assignments concurrently • Keep the MQ current version maintain the most possible uptime and minimize MTTR when incident occur, proactively resolve middleware risks • Must engineer, build, deploy and manage large scale enterprise solutions for our messaging environment • Ensure technology integration with web servers, application servers, messaging and integration solutions, security and identity solutions. • Consults with end users, leadership, vendors, and technicians to assess system and non-functional requirements. *EXPERIENCE: • MUST HAVES:* • Min 6 -10 years of experience as MQ Series Administrator or related field Unix administration • Proficient in MQ Series 7.X, and 8.X features • Knowledge of various Broker or MQ objects such as Queues, Channels, Clustered Queues, etc. • Vast knowledge on MQ Clustering, PUB/SUB, Exits, API, and Client access architectures • Familiar with Red Hat Linux or any other flavor of Linux • Knowledge of UNIX Operating Systems including storage / network infrastructure is a definitive plus • Collaborate with internal customers/leading MQ Series standup/migration projects for internal organizations • Engaging other MQ Administrators helping in work distribution if needed *NICE TO HAVES:* • Experience in writing Web Servers, App Servers, Database technology • Experience with MQ Series Open source competitors with Rabbit MQ, Sonic MQ, Open MQ, etc • Familiar with messaging protocols MQI, AMQP, JMS, Rest and SOAP. • Previous MQ insourcing experience • Experience with commercial and Open source ESB’s JBoss Fuse, Mule, SAP, Active Matrix, Camel, Open ESB • Experience with Unix shell scripting. Perl/Ruby scripting will be a plus.
