This person will be responsible for the development of applications using existing and cutting edge technologies. He/she will also help drive the direction of new emerging technologies. This person must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with team members, and be able to handle multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines Essential Functions & Responsibilities Essential Functions and Responsibilities · Conducting a full range of programming tasks, including coding, testing and documentation of a wide range of product and database applications · Being responsible for program maintenance and revisions to existing systems · Interacting with Customer Support representatives, QA personnel, Product Managers or others in order to resolve programming problems and implement new features · Understanding current and emerging technological and industry developments, and implementing changes as applicable Critical Working Relationships: · Interacting with Product Managers and Management Staff in order design and implement effective solutions Qualifications Education: · A four-year degree or equivalent in Computer Science Experience/Knowledge/Skills: · Strong experience with ASP.NET – specifically c# · Strong knowledge of object-oriented coding concepts · Strong HTMLand CSS knowledge · Experience with Jscript, JavaScript, and AJAX · SQL Server, T-SQLand SSIS · Experience with Visual Basic including application development and ActiveX components · Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio · Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter · Must have the ability to execute on both maintenance projects as well as "blank-page" work · Strong communication skills are required for interaction with internal customers Measures of Performance · On-time and accurate delivery of business-critical projects · Migration of legacy applications to newer technologies · Client satisfaction with the solutions.
