*Day to Day Responsibilities*

   - Developing SDK’s that will support:
      - Push registration, push notification and payload processing for
      deep links and core analytics.
      - Location based services such as geofencing, beacons.
      - Data exchange under oAuth2 to support messaging, personalization
      and mobile analytics.
      - Contextual services – built to be easily extensible to fetch local
      traffic and weather
      - Message queuing, filtering and sorting
   - Agile- 2 week sprints
   - Modifying existing reference apps (not in store) for push applications
   - Developing Showcase apps/ Store worthy apps by end of contract



*Required Skills*

   - IOS/ Android (done recent projects on both platforms)
   - 2-3 years’ minimum experience
   - Looking for someone who can develop natively on both IOS and Android
   to ensure consistency on both platforms
   - Some level of UI experience
   - Sift or Swift 2 or Objective C is OK



*Preferred Skills*

   - Scale!! –need someone that has experience with an app that has a large
   number of users (i.e. millions of users)
   - Digital, retail, marketing



*Education*

   - Software engineering degree preferred



*Project Details*

*Team Structure / What does your team support?*

   - Experian Marketing suite is a cloud based platform with clients like
   Target, William Sonoma, and other market retailers. The platform is used to
   message customers in email, SMS, push notifications, etc. Currently there
   are API’s (but no mobile SDKs) but these API’s are not effective enough to
   send these notifications through a mobile app perspective

*What does Success look like in the role? *

   - Complete projects early, Proactive, suggesting better ways to do
   something, suggest new functionality and avoid pitfalls

*What would stand out in a candidate (what did you like about the other
candidate)?*

   - Combo of IOS and Android; very clean, solid code that shows similarity
   between the two platforms
   - Motivated and very excited about the project; proactive and motivated



*Work Location*

   - El Segundo (there is some flexibility to allow this person to work
   remotely a few days a week)
   - Must be in the office at least 1 day a week (ideally 2-3 days a week)
   for their sprints and for meetings



*Interviewing*

   - i.e.: Panel, Phone, Onsite, Web Conference
   - 2 interviews
   - Mobile Product Manager will conduct phone screen; in person with
   hiring manger and Dev team (will review the candidate’s code in the
   interview)
