*Production Support Developer*
*Basking Ridge, NJ*

*Scope of Project:*
Client is bringing back their offshore development/production support back
on site to the Basking Ridge, NJ location.
This project is going to be dealing directly with myuhc.com and their
customer care, member portals. This helps service of 11 million customers.
The average day would be dealing with triaging issues, call support,
communicating with external stakeholders, communicating with offshore, and
running with the organization.
*Primary Responsibilities:*
- Work on incidents/problem/change tickets .Triage/plan fixes.
- Provide on call support for large scale portals as needed.
- Strong participation in production support and enhancements.
- Participate/Lead multiple meetings during onshore hours with different
stakeholders to address escalated issues.
- Collaborate with distributed teams across the globe for providing
seamless experience to stakeholders.
- Coordinate new technology releases with the team.
- Updating documentation to ensure work product meets UDP/SOX compliance
requirements
- Deploy and maintain Applications/Systems
*Required Qualifications:*
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years Java application development experience and production support
- 3+ years as expert Java J2EE developer (JSP, Servlets, Struts, Spring,
Json , Restful Services , Log4J, DB2, Oracle and RAD)
- 3+ years Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
- 3+ years Oracle and DB2 experience/running queries
- Ability to do on call support
- Manager: "Must have conviction and passion."
- Day to Day:
- 4-5 meetings with external stakeholders (communication), stating
current issue
*Assets: (nice to haves)*
- Past experience working on production support
- Past experience with Redhat OSE, AEM , Splunk , new Relic, Dynatrace.
- Experience with ITIL processes preferred
- Health Care Industry experience is preferred
- Possessing good understanding of DEVOPS
