*Job Title : Java Developer *

*Location : Dallas, TX      *

*Duration : Long Term Contract*



*Project Description:*



·         Turns the requirements into working solutions that achieve the
desired business value

·         Leverages the traditional technical disciplines, such as
technical analysis, detailed design, architecture, estimation, and testing

·         Signs up for work each sprint and delivers on their commitments

·         Fully understands the business requirements and acceptance
criteria identified from each story prior to commencing development

·         Maintains the quality and architecture coherence of the code
developed

·         Collaborates with the Product Owner, Business Analyst, and
Testers to make sure the right code is developed

·         Writes quality code, unit tests, automated acceptance tests and
checks new code into the shared repository frequently (TDD, CI)

·         Follows established coding standards and participates in code
reviews

·         May pair program with another Developer or may pair with a Tester



*Software Developer – Java:*



Spring Engineer

·         5+ years java development experience

·         Spring Core

·         Spring Batch or Integration

·         REST and SOAP Web Services

·         JMS or comparable Messaging framework (Rabbit MQ, ActiveMQ, etc)

·         Testing

·         JUnit or Spock – Unit Testing Framework

·         JBehave or Spock – Acceptance Testing Framework

·         Nice to haves

·         JIRA – Scrum Task Boards, etc.  (should at least be comfortable
with some kind of bug tracking solution)

·         Confluence – Collaboration/Documentation

·         Gradle.
