Client: Will Share if submitted Duration: 1 year contract Location: Austin, TX Rate 50 (flexible) *NO USC or GC or GC EAD* NEED VISA COPY *Day to Day: * · WLAN Design Package: Produce or oversee vendor production of LAN/WLAN designs per defined standards using approved catalog. · Supplemental Designs/MACD’s: Evaluate the technical feasibility of a set of requests for New Construction, lifecycle upgrades/network refreshes and recommend alternative or additional requirements to optimize the performance of a WLAN using floorplans, survey documentation, including AirMagnet files for Hospitality venues. · Support design throughout planning and installation in coordination with Project Managers and Vendors. · Produce updated Wi-Fi designs to optimize HSIA infrastructure performance, and take advantage of new HSIA related technologies and best practices. · Provide Quality Assurance for vendors performing a set of activities related to installation of outlined Design Package. *Must Haves:* § *Knowledge of Equipment and Infrastructure * o Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Fiber o DSL / Coax o 802.11a/b/g/n/ac o Design principals, RF, Power Budgets, Cabling o Conformance to venue standards for aesthetics, coverage, throughput requirements o Cable certification reviews § *Software and configurations* o Cisco IOS o Cisco LWAP Controller o Ruckus Zone Director WLANs o VLAN technologies (e.g., 802.1q, Spanning tree) o Routing protocols o Air Magnet Survey Pro/Planner o Visio § *Soft Skills of assigned resources* o Must be able to present and describe the network architecture, cabling requirements, and mounting locations; o Must be well spoken, articulate, and able to work in a customer facing environment, and able to respond to any questions raised by the customer, contractors, sales staff, or project managers § *Desired Certifications of assigned resources:* o CWNA or equivalent o CWDP or equivalent o 3-5 years in WLAN Design, implementation, troubleshooting Anu Krishna (Anubhav Krishna) Sr. Accounts Manager 248 565 4747 Ext 193 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "US_IT.Groups" group.
