*Position : Senior Network Engineer consultant*

Location : Grafton WI

Duration : 3 Months



This position will start for 3 months.  Candidates can be either consult to
hire or straight consulting.  If consult to hire the target annual salary
range is between $60,000 - -$90,000.  A conversion fee of $5000 will be
paid if Regal hires the resource between 3 month and 5 months if Regal
decides to hire after 6 months there is no conversion fee.  The conversion
fee can be invoiced after the first 30 days of employment.



The primary location for this position is Grafton Wisconsin.  There will be
30% to 40% travel required.  The candidate must be legally able to work US.
We will not take the candidates who needs sponsorship.



*Job Responsibilities:*

The Senior Network Engineer works for and under the general direction of
the Sr Networking Manager.  Responsibilities include planning and designing
the network infrastructure and enterprise network solutions;
troubleshooting, installing, implementing and administering network systems
and providing support. Responsible for ensuring planned testing activities
are executed and for developing network security guidelines.



*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*

·         Strong working familiarity with Cisco IOS with hands-on
experience configuring Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and wireless
devices.

·         Network Connectivity: Provides support for network connectivity
or related network issues for the user community.

·         Network Installation: Plans and monitors the installation of
network systems.

·         Network Monitoring: Analyzes network activity and network
problems to discover and prevent systematic errors. Recommends network
design changes/enhancements for improved systems availability and
performance.

·         Issue Resolution: Troubleshoots, diagnoses and resolves network
problems. Researches, analyzes and recommends the implementation of
software or hardware changes to rectify any network deficiencies or to
enhance network performance.

·         Capacity Planning: Analyzes facilities bandwidth requirements and
system interdependencies. Develops capacity planning models.

·         Disaster Recovery: Ensures planned testing activities are
performed and technical criteria are met.

·         Network Performance Assessment: Assesses network performance to
ensure that it meets the present and future needs of the business. Provides
network planning recommendations to management.

·         Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.



*DECISION MAKING:*

·         This position serves as a technical lead, providing guidance and
mentorship to network system engineers.

·         Designs technical solutions and coordinates with the staff to
ensure timely and accurate implementation



*Minimum Qualifications:*

·         Knowledge level of six to ten years of relevant IT work
experience.

·         CCNA level of knowledge

·         Willingness to participate in hands on demonstration of skills
during interviewing process

·         Excellent troubleshooting skills

·         Willingness to assist IT staff across the globe with issues that
could span outside of networking arena

·         Ability to be onsite daily @ the Grafton, WI office



*Desired Qualifications:*

·         CCNP, or CCSP or CCDP Certifications

·         Experience with Cisco enterprise grade products to include: Nexus
9000, 6500, 4500, ISR G1/2, ASA w/ FirePower, CUCM, AnyConnect, ISE, Cisco
Scansafe / CWS

·         Extensive experience with Cisco Unified Wireless networking to
include; 802.11a, b, g & n, APs, WCS / Prime, WLC and ISE

·         Advanced knowledge of IOS, NX-OS, EIGRP, BGP, GRE and Multicast.

·         Knowledge of Enterprise system monitoring and management tools
such as OpNet, Cisco Prime, Wireshark and PRTG.

·         Knowledge of commercial enterprise-level tools and products to
provide network services, including: firewalls, DNS, DHCP, web security,
Radius, and VPN.

·         Exposure / knowledge of F5 LTM / Link Controllers

·         Experience with Cisco VoIP, including Call Manager 9.X, Unity,
Contact Center Express. Knowledge of voice TDM technologies is also very
useful

·         Prior experience working in helpdesk and/or server management
roles

·         Experience with Checkpoint and/or Palo Alto

·         Strong understanding of network security

·         Wireless experience in manufacturing / warehouse environments

·         Background with large (1000+ network device and >100 WAN
connections) networking environments

·         Experience with Office 365 performance

·         Background working closely with IT admins and engineers across
the globe in a multi-national corporate environment

·         Familiarity with Windows and Unix based server technologies
