Position Title: Web Developer Rate: $ 45-50 Job Location: Chicago, IL Job Description Company Overview: Comcast Spotlight is the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable. Comcast Spotlight serves 90+ of the nation's 210 designated market areas - including eight of the top 10 television markets. Comcast Spotlight's goal is to make cable television easy to buy, and to enhance the value of spot television via new technologies. Responsibilities: Working with a team developing, enhancing, maintaining and supporting web based applications using ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>. Developing databases and reports using SQL server programming. Providing operational production support to existing processes and recommending solutions for improvement. Assisting the team with the implementation and maintenance of corporate Websites. Responsible for developing new applications, and making required enhancements and modifications to existing and legacy web applications using existing development standards and adhering to the corporate SDLC (System Development Life Cycle). Providing technical and functional support for the Help Desk and Engineering departments with issues and questions related to Websites and Web Applications. Reporting progress of tasks and projects to management.
