Assisting other team members with technical questions about wpf/xaml. Contributing to conversations/decisions about architecture as it relates to leveraging wpf for our needs. Required Skills: Overall, 7-8 years experience required. Experience coding apps in wpf. Minimum WPF is tough because wpf is new, but at least 1-2 years experience. Background would be someone with dev/architecture experience. Someone with experience doing rich ui apps. As WPF is a must, .Net exp such as C# goes along. Is this a pure WPF role or will they need to be proficient with the middle tier and/or WCF? wpf is all they need. Seniority is senior dev or an architect. Someone who has the ability to make decisions for a team, not just follow orders (I wont need them to make many decisions like that on their own, but that is the level I want) Desired Skills: Experience with xaml is a bonus. Writing their own xaml extensions is not a requirement. Would be an indicator of their proficiency so would be nice in that sense. If they have xaml experience, examples would be nice.
