*Job Title: SQL SERVER DBA* *Location: Ann Arbor, MI* *Duration: 3+ months * *There will be 1 face to face interview and no phone screens in the hiring process. * *SQL Server DBA:* Must Have: Large scale database experience Atleast 7 years of sql server dba Clusters, replication, TDS, SSIS *Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:* • Strong experience with DTS, SSIS, and SSAS. Experience identifying and proposing solutions to performance problems is required • Experience working in a transactional SQL language (ie T-SQL) • Experience with high volume, high profile enterprise database operations • Experience with domains, account administration, and windows security • Experience with large scale databases (ie in the 100+GB range) • Database clustering, replication and merge replication • Experience with index, query optimization, and table partitioning on large SQL servers • Experience with reporting servers preferred • Experience writing and converting ETL code preferred • Experience with tools such as Redgate, i3 or Netbackup is desirable *Qualifications, Experience:* • Bachelor’s degree required • Extensive hands-on experience in database administration and SQL usage; • Strong MS SQL Server database administration experience using SQL Server 2000 and 2005 • Experience in large databases, supporting OLTP applications, and Replication technologies • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Microsoft Certification (MCDBA) a plus -- Thanks & Regards Praveen RapidIT, Inc.
