Description: Qualifications: - Experienced IT Technical Architect – worked in large organizations influencing technology selection and developed API Platform Solutions - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience and 4 years of API development experience - Experience with API Management platforms (Apigee, Akana, Mule, Kong, WS02) - Experience with product management, development and business analysis - Experience working in an Agile, continuous delivery environment - 2+ years of cloud experience – AWS EC2, IAM, CloudFormation, SQS, SNS, RDS or equivalent technologies preferred - Experience designing, creating and supporting RESTful API micro services - Experience with API Management platforms (Akana, Apigee, Kong, WS02, Mule) - Experience with relational and non-relational data stores Additional Desirable Skills: - Experience working with lines-of-business to understand the overarching needs and translate them into design patterns - Strong leadership skills and an ability to influence decisions - Possesses a technology agnostic thought process - Engineering background with experience in developing and implementing all forms of API’s (B2B, B2C) - Experience with security technologies (OAuth, SAML, OIDC, etc) - Experience designing, creating, and operating continuous delivery pipelines - Experience with Cloud PaaS – AWS ElasticBeanstalk, Heroku, or Cloud Foundry - NoSQL – Cassandra, Kafka, AWS DynamoDB, MongoDB, AWS RDS, Neo4J - Familiar with Cloud-First architecture – loosely coupled systems, fault-tolerance, HA, scalability.
