*1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*

*Job Summary – (Role Summary)*

Responsible for administering and helping guide the development and support
of our ServiceNow implementation. This role will also provide both
technical and functional support to business users and external
vendors/integrators. They will work closely with the business SMEs and ITIL
function owners to ensure proper procedure/process, determine and build
requirements for future enhancements, answer user community questions
concerning application functionality, identify production issues and
provide resolution for those issues.



*Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities)*

·         Perform day to day administration of ServiceNow

·         Report on Metrics using ServiceNow and Performance Analytics

·         Assist in the creation and maintenance of our Service Catalog
including approval workflows

·         Maintain business services and Configuration Item relationships
in ServiceNow

·         Perform installation and testing of vendor-provided updates and
new releases

·         Work with business users to identify and refine business
requirements and workflows

·         Providing ServiceNow configuration and customization assistance
including, but not limited to: screen tailoring, workflow administration,
report setup, data imports, LDAP integration, custom scripting and third
party software integrations.

·         Assist in designing, configuring and customizing new applications
and modules

·         Maintain Service Level Agreement (SLA) and monitor SLA workflow

·         Solution and provide requested configuration enhancements to
existing ServiceNow applications

·         Work with functional and admin teams to deliver automated
workflow solutions in ServiceNow

·         Advanced scripting of business rules, UI Policies, Client
Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, etc.

·         Assist with 3rd party software integrations with ServiceNow

·         Facilitate and support the rollout of new application and
enhancements in ServiceNow

·         Configure ServiceNow Discovery and Orchestration.

·         Advise functional and admin teams on design, development and
overall ServiceNow best practices.



*REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS*

*Education –*

·         Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or related field or an
equivalent combination of education and experience as required for the
specific job level (Computer Science or MIS preferred).



*EXPERIENCE –*

·         3+ Years of experience in
supporting/deploying/administering/implementing ServiceNow.



*Technical Skills and Knowledge –*

·         Demonstrated knowledge of assigned applications and demonstrated
understanding of the organizations business systems and processes

·         Demonstrated ability to understand technical problems and
solutions in relation to current as well as future business environments.

·         Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills in developing
efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems

·         Demonstrated project management experience in organizing,
planning and executing large-scale projects from conception through
implementation.

·         Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
for the purpose of providing and explaining technical information to
clients, vendors, senior management and staff.

·         Specialized Technical skills – May require demonstrated
experience in one or more of the following:

·         The candidate will be have an understanding of ServiceNow
functionality and how all ITIL processes can be implemented in ServiceNow
(this includes, but is not limited to Incident Management, Change
Management, Asset Management, CMDB Management, Knowledge Management and
Problem Management)

·         Basic understanding of ITIL Methodology and Service Oriented
Architecture.

·         ITIL Foundation Certification is a plus.

·         ServiceNow Administrator Certification is a plus.

·         ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification is a plus 3.

*Internal Key Relationships –*

·         This position will work closely with client management (which may
include hotels), development teams, support teams (including Business
Requirements, Training and Hotel System Support) central shared services
resources, and management to discuss projects, provide recommendations on
improvement opportunities and operating and financial performance as well
as resource constraints, issues impacting project progress, technical
designs. Acts as main liaison to technical engineers to ensures process and
system development meets user requirements and performs as expected.



*External Key Relationships –*

·         Key vendors and third party interface provides; as well as,
professional associations, industry experts to keep informed of existing
and evolving industry standards
