*Job Description:*
Client is seeking to hire an experienced programmer to come join our team
down in southeastern, MN to work for one of our premier healthcare clients.
This person will provide level 2 and some level 3 support of standard,
operational processes. This person must be capable of making programming
modifications related to both production support as well as discretionary
enhancements in response to user requests.
Client solutions runs on the IBM iSeries, and uses the following
technologies:
- RPG programming language – Must be expert
o ILE and free form experience required
o DDS
o Subfiles
- SQL – Must be expert
- Command language – Must have. Will probably come by default with
mastery of RPG and SQL
- Operations vendor support – Very nice to have. Depends on iSeries
system knowledge. Typically requires systems engineering experience.
- Other system maintenance and support as assigned
- Must have experience with
o Rational Developer for Power
o Job scheduling
o Version control
o Code migration from development to test and production
o Change management practices
