Scope 1) Implementation Assistance In this activity, an IBM Technical Consultant will provide services to complete coding, unit test, and where listed below - string test the implementation of the framework service based on the services created during the POC of DataPower. Tasks may include: a. Configure error handling for framework level error conditions. · Completion criteria: All processing rules specify an error rule. Separate error processing for REST and SOAP services. All GatewayScript and XSLT error conditions set the DataPower error service variables for use by the error rule. Note: There may be specific custom error conditions that are desired. These will only be addressed as time permits at the end of the project. Typically these are unique error conditions that are found during integration and system testing. b. Re-configure the framework to take advantage of the WSO2-driven metadata components and test connections. · Completion criteria: Completed successful test end to end so that metadata is published through one Datapower instance of the cluster to remote filestore or couchbase db server via REST interfaces, and read from other DataPower instance. c. Complete the re-configuration of the OAuth pieces to use custom scope validation and also fix oauth authentication to validate against the metadata as against to aaainfo.xml( local to aaainfo.xml, ldap to ldap, db to metadata that has been dynamically obtained. Framework should include all OAuth flows as supported in firmware 7.5 that includes JWT. · Completion criteria: Authentication is implemented for: local, ldap, and metadata. OAuth grant types are implemented, including JWT. Phase one scope checking implemented. d. Extend the framework to support latest REST schema (Swagger 2.0) validation. · Completion criteria: Swagger docs are being pushed to Datapower and the framework is validating request and responses against Swagger API definitions. e. Extend the framework to provide support for user-specific SLM policies. · Completion criteria: SLM is functional for up to three user-specific policies. f. Extend the framework to support request and response transformation. · Completion criteria: Request and response transformation implemented. g. Evaluate performance of overall framework and provide performance tuning. · Completion criteria: Performance tuning will be provided for up to three iterations. An iteration consists of comparison test of performance without and with framework, identification of potential performance tuning aspects and their implementation. Any performance tuning effort will be dependent on an environment being available for testing. There is no commitment to meeting specific NFR targets. h. Extend the framework to include service level logging with configurable log levels. i. Completion criteria: Verify that the logs are written to backend log destinations MQ and remote file systems.Document the whole Framework *Completion criteria:* Completed document summarizing the implementation details of the framework service.
