Job Description: expert-level WebSphere Application Server administrator who has current hands-on experience using V8.5 or higher. The candidate should have experience in the planning, design and assessment of new & existing middleware infrastructures. They must have experience in the migration of applications from one major version to another. They should be able to demonstrate expertise with the most recent and relevant technologies in the middleware arena. They must have excellent communication skills and possess the ability to collaborate with internal and external groups including vendors. Skills Required Websphere Application Server IBM HTTP Server Script writing WebSphere MQSeries UNIX (AIX preferred)/Linux DataPower Middleware infrastructure planning, design and assessment PEGA BPM IBM Master Data Management System health monitoring (Tivoli/Wily preferred) Relational database administration (DB2 preferred) WebSphere Portal Web Content Management WebFocus administration Adobe Live Cycle/AEM administration Skills Preferred Demonstrate expertise in teaching / conveying technical and / or functional courses / concepts. Develop appropriate work programs / budgets and use to effectively schedule tasks / assignments. Identify improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services / products. Assessment/recommendations of on-site middleware infrastructure Installation/configuration/administration of WebSphere Application Server ND 7.0, 8.0, 8.5.5 or higher Migration of WebSphere Application Server environments from one major release to another Installation/configuration/administration of WebSphere MQSeries 7.x, 8.0 or higher Migration of WebSphere MQSeries environments from one major release to another Installation/configuration/administration of DataPower Gateway appliances Installation/administration/configuration of IBM HTTP Server or other web servers Installation/configuration/administration of other middleware software on a Unix/Linux platform such as distributed DB2, PEGA BPM, IBM MDM, IBM Information Server, WebSphere Portal, WCM, Adobe Live Cycle/AEM, WebFocus, TAMIT, WebSphere Message Broker, Tivoli Netcool/Omnibus, ITM, CA Wily Introscope. Develop Jython/JACL, wsadmin, Unix shell scripts Unix/Linux administration Implement SSL/TLS configuration and certification Understanding of network security, firewalls, ADCs, VIPs, etc Experience integrating with IBM Tivoli Directory Server and Microsoft AD/ADLDS Experience integrating with IBM Webseal/Tivoli Access Manager/ISAM Experience Required 5 plus years Experience Preferred Education Required 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study Technical certifications desired Education Preferred Additional Information One-hour unpaid lunch.
