Please send me your available candidates resume on arjun.s...@savvytech.us Role: PeopleSoft End Users Trainer Duration: 9 (Months) Location: Austin TX 78752 Job Description: The HHSC Enterprise Applications IT area is preparing for a reimplementation to PeopleSoft Financials version 9.2 with a go-live on September 1, 2017 and is posting this position for an End User Curriculum Developer/Trainer of the project. Currently, HHS has Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Purchasing and Asset Management from PeopleSoft Financials version 8.8 implemented. The project will move HHS to a PeopleSoft 9.2 version delivered by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) called CAPPS. With the reimplementation, HHS will expand the module scope to include Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Contract Management. Senate Bill 200 has mandated the consolidation of the current five (5) HHS Departments into three (3). The project will be a reimplementation of CAPPS Financials version 9.2 rather than an upgrade taking advantage of consolidated business units and configurations. The End User Curriculum Developer/Trainer position will be responsible for developing instructor led and eLearning course materials, in addition to facilitating Train the Trainer sessions. The resource must have curriculum development experience, including experience developing system based course materials for instructor led and eLearning purposes. The worker must have extensive knowledge of what is required to execute instructor led, end user training, including best practices and strong facilitation skills. This position requires multi-tasking, exercising initiative, strong written and verbal communication, and independent judgment. The worker must be available on-site to assure successful completion of the project. Duties for this position will include: • Collaborating with Subject Matter Expert and Project Team to gather content and information • Developing instructor led, role based course materials, including training presentation, facilitator guide, activity guide, and quick reference documents • Developing eLearning tutorials using Captivate 8, simulating system functionality • Conducting content review sessions with SMEs and incorporating feedback provided • Facilitating train the trainer session, including conveying best practices in training delivery skills Requirements Minimum Skills Requirement in years Years Skills/Experience 6 Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Word and Power Point, to developer instructor led course materials 6 Experience using Captivate to develop eLearning training assets, including voice over demos and interactive simulations 6 Experience developing course presentation, facilitator guides, activities guides, and quick reference documents to support hands on, instructor led training to be delivered in person and via virtual sessions. 6 Experience conducting train the trainer training in a variety of settings (e.g. classroom, video conference, virtual meeting, etc.) 5 Effective communication and presentation skills in both small group and large group settings 5 Ability to alter direction based on business needs or project feedback from customers 4 Experience with developing role based, end user training for PeopleSoft v8.8+ for Modules Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Contract Management 2 Experience with developing role based, end user training for PeopleSoft v8.8+ for Modules General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Management 4 Experience facilitating content review sessions, capturing input from multiple resources and prioritizing changes. Strong Communication (verbal and written), analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization. Strong Ability to set and meet project deadlines while maintaining an even disposition under pressure Strong Experience working through development of training materials by working closely with the Functional Team through build and test Strong Good teamwork skills, ability to collaborate with every level of staff in the HHS organization.
