Hi Title: MySql DBA Location: Palo Alto, CA Duration: 3 - 6 months Required Skills: MySQL DB performance tuning Investigate and document the current production database setup Configuration, and schema, then investigate and fix the performance problems client is facing. This person needs to understand MySQL configuration, logs, performance metrics, caching, indexing, keys, security aspects etc. Basically he should be very strong with MySQL and should posses the experience in handling performance tuning aspects of the database.
