Title: Business Analyst

Location: San Ramon, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

Client: Chevron




Job Expectation:
• Responsible for the functional design and architecture of application
systems across all technologies and platforms
• Identify alternative’s in context of business opportunity and business
processes
• Elicit, document and finalize business requirements (e.g. processes,
data, business rules, functions, etc.)
• Constructs program flow charts to describe the processing of data and
development of precise steps and processing logic across all platforms.
• Translates user requirements to business processes and data requirements.
• Has strong experience in creating BRD's and FRD's, has led meetings of
stakeholders of all levels for system requirements
• Design, implement and execute testing strategies and user acceptance test
cases to ensure business requirements are satisfied
• Diagnose complex development and operational problems and provide
alternative solutions
• Understand change management and implications of the alternative
• Be engaged throughout the whole project life-cycle, from opportunity
through post-install transition, including QA efforts.

Additional Qualifications:
• Business Analyst with 10+ years’ experience
• Strong business analysis, process modeling, requirements elicitation and
management skills
• Strong facilitation skills and ability to influence
• Strong leadership, communication (verbal and written) and collaboration
skills between business partners and technical architects
• Detail oriented, ability to work under pressure, coordinate efforts and
prioritize workload
• Strong Analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to
interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and
operational requirements
• A Self-Starter, quick learner and a team player who takes initiative and
works diligently to meet project deadlines
• Ability to manage small projects from requirements to completion
o We have a 24/7/365 operation and when production support request come in,
the BA completes initial requirements gathering prior to submitting to the
development team
o Can manage multiple activities concurrently (i.e. more than one project
at a time) Projects range from small enhancements of $10,000-$25,000 all
the way up to multi-million dollar projects.
• Ability to adapt and quickly adjust to Change
• Ability to work with cross- functional teams
• Preferred experience in financials/banking/credit card processing
business. Our applications support our retailers credit/debit card
processing and settlement.
