The candidate must be a team player, with an ability to work well under tight timelines, and self-motivated. Preferred Qualifications 1. Knowledge with core Internet protocols: TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF and ISIS. 2. Knowledge with VoIP network architecture and protocols: SIP, RTP, MGCP and H.248. 3. Hand-on experience on switches and routers. Certification from Cisco and/or Juniper is a plus. 4. Familiarity with SONET and optical transport gears. 5. Knowledge and experience with SNMP protocol and tools. 6.
