Hi, Currently, I am recruiting candidates for one of my requirement as mentioned below. *Job Title* SENIOR OPENSTACK ENGINEER *Project Location* Reston VA *Duration* 6 months /Contract * Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI:-Telephonic followed by face to face* *NO H1B* Technical must-haves: 1. Understanding of infrastructure-as-code. 2. Understanding of DevOps concepts. 3. Understanding of large-scale distributed systems. 4. Hands-on experience with Ansible. Experience with OpenStack Ansible a plus. 5. Hands-on experience with OpenStack in an Ops role, greater than one year and with OpenStack version Kilo or later. 6. Solid Unix system administration experience. Soft skills: Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated appetite to improve current conditions, specifically in the area of large-scale server management. Responsibilities: 1. Production support of the Cloud (CEC). 2. Operational awareness, use of automation, availability, performance, and utilization of the cloud platform. 3. Production support may require after-hours response and remediation. Team supports the performance, and capacity utilization of the private OpenStack-based cloud Build operational awareness for customers - scale through automation, and continually improve Employ a combination of open source and custom in-house tools Team provides L3 production support and will be contacted off-hours if L1/L2 support teams are unable to resolve a production issue *This role will be a key contributor to fulfilling the vision of building a highly-available, secured, and well-tested cloud platform capable of operating at scale.
